Kenzie Wolk

Bio
Kenzie Wolk lives in rural Missouri, just outside of St. Louis. Her art has evolved from smaller portraits to large-scale murals, and it’s this continuous evolution of ideas, styles, emotions, and directions that keeps her motivated and growing. "A stagnant artist should no longer call themselves an artist," says Wolk.

Wolk inherited her talents from her grandmother, a self-taught, magnificent artist. When visiting her grandmother, they would experiment with various artistic mediums, and she was encouraged to explore creativity freely. Despite her artistic background, Wolk never took any art classes in high school, fearing she wasn’t “good enough” for them. Her older brother, also a talented artist, convinced her to take a drawing class in college, and that was when she realized she had a true passion for creation.

Her most recent focus has been on large scale murals. No longer confined to her studio, Wolk's art is now a public performance. The idea of painting in front of others was once something she feared, and she still feels nervous when beginning a new project. But she now considers it a privilege to share the live process. The "show" invites the viewer to engage more deeply with the artistic experience. She’s a strong believer that art must be shared with as many people as possible.

With years of experience in the creative world, Kenzie has worked with both private and corporate clients to bring inviting
designs to their spaces.

Above all, Kenzie is a family person. "If I don’t have time for them, then what’s the point of having a family?" she says.
